·       Through the office of the Secretary to the Treasury, grants the authority for the MDAs to open Government bank accounts.

·       Facilitates the process of opening and closing Government bank accounts

·       Authorizes the change of signatories to Government accounts

·       Secretariat for resolving matters relating to Government accounts

·       In conjunction with the Central Bank, monitors the Government Account Database
